America has always considered a secure Pakistan important to American interests. Whereas earlier US President Joe Biden, while talking on the changing international geopolitical scenario, said during a speech in California that Pakistan could also be one of the ‘world’s most dangerous countries’.

India’s External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had raised questions on this deal. He said Washington’s relationship with Islamabad had not served American interest. India had immediately informed the US government of the issues related to India’s objection to Washington’s move to offer a repair package deal for Pakistan’s F-16 fleet.
