But later reversing his statement, he said that the rocket company will continue to fund the Internet service in the country. He said in a tweet on Monday that SpaceX has already withdrawn its request for funding. which is an acknowledgment that such a request was made.
While a Pentagon spokesman said the Defense Department would not speculate about future security aid announcements before it was made.
