Suella Braverman questions ‘migration and mobility partnership’

London. India has responded to UK Home Secretary Suella Braverman’s claim that the ‘Migration and Mobility Partnership’ (MMP) is not working properly. India said that it has initiated action in all matters raised by Britain under the agreement. Responding to a PTI query regarding Braverman’s interview to ‘The Spectator’, the Indian High Commission said India awaits “concrete progress” on some of the promises made by the British government under the MMP signed last year.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the High Commission of India said, “As part of the detailed discussions under the MMP, the Government of India is committed to working closely with the British Government to ensure that Indian nationals staying in the UK for extended periods of visa stay are protected.” Make the return easy.

Action started on all the cases sent to the High Commission
“As per the data shared with the Home Office, action has been initiated in all the cases referred to the High Commission,” the statement said. Apart from this, the UK also has to fulfill some promises under the MMP, we are waiting for concrete steps to be taken in that regard.
