The family, originally from Harsi Pind in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, was abducted on Monday. Merced County Sheriff Verne Warneke said the bodies of eight-month-old Aruhi Dheri, her mother Jasleen Kaur (27), father Jasdeep Singh (36) and Jasdeep’s brother Amandeep Singh (39) were found in a garden near Indiana Road and Hutchinson Road. Recovered on Wednesday evening.

Warneke said that a laborer working in the field near the garden saw the bodies and immediately informed the authorities. All the bodies were found together. “I can’t express my anger in words,” Warneke told a news conference on Wednesday evening. ,

The Merced County Sheriff’s Office shared a new video of the family’s abduction earlier in the day on Wednesday. In the video, first Jasdeep and Amandeep are seen leaving the building and their hands are tied. After this the kidnapper is seen bringing out Jasleen and the eight-month-old girl. Suspect Salgado was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon. He had tried to kill himself and is admitted in the hospital.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect’s family told officials that Salgado had admitted to having kidnapped the Sikh family.
