Four people of Indian origin, including an eight-month-old girl, were abducted from California’s Merced County on Monday, officials said. At the same time, the police have described the suspect as armed and dangerous.

The Merced County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement on Monday that 36-year-old Jasdeep Singh, 27-year-old Jasleen Kaur, their eight-month-old daughter Aarohi, 39-year-old Amandeep Singh, have been kidnapped. Police don’t have much information yet but they have discovered that the four have been taken to the 800 block of South Street 59 against their wishes.
