A book titled Aspirations, Access and Agency: Women Transforming Lives with Technology was launched at the event. It is published by Reliance Foundation and Observer Research Foundation. It has inspirational stories of women. These stories tell how women from the remotest corners of India have used digital technologies to gain entitlement, financial services, health care, sanitation and more. Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and Envoy on Technology Amandeep Singh Gill said this publication shows that ‘it is truly inspiring that when you bring the right process and technology together to people, magic happens.’ During a discussion on ‘Women’s Technology and the SDGs’, Bharat Shombi Sharp, Resident Coordinator at the United Nations, said that women are at the forefront of both long-term development and short-term crisis response.

India is expected to have 1 billion smartphone users in the next four years, with demand increasing dramatically in rural areas. Today, 54% of women in India have a mobile phone. At the same time, more than 22.5% Indian women use mobile phones for financial transactions.

Problems that are not getting the awareness or recognition they deserve. He also emphasized the need for multilateralism and the importance of its reform.
