Talking to the British newspaper Daily Star, 56-year-old Nancy Hawk said that she decided to become a surrogate mother when Cambria, the wife of her son Jeff, had to undergo an emergency hysterectomy. This operation had to be done after the birth of 33-year-old Jeff’s twins. Nancy gave birth to a baby girl last week. She has said that she is going to write a book about this experience soon.

From the very beginning, Nancy’s son and daughter-in-law wanted to have a big family. But she had to struggle for six years to conceive. Later through IVF, both of them gave birth to twins Vera and Iwa. But the couple was saddened to learn that Cambria could not safely become a mother again after being advised to undergo a hysterectomy in September 2021.

She started hormone treatment in January 2022. Nancy’s husband and son helped her in this. She injected herself every day for 12 weeks. Then in February 2022, Nancy was transferred embryo through IVF. Eventually everything worked out and she has now become a grandmother again and again.
