Digital Desk, New Delhi. The ongoing tension between Russia and Ukraine has not subsided yet. While releasing a video, Russia claimed that it was withdrawing its army from the Ukraine border, but satellite images showed that instead of calling, Russia was increasing military activity along the Ukraine border. America has said on February 17 that Russia has deployed seven thousand more soldiers on the Ukraine border.

Revealed in satellite images taken by Maxar

In the last 48 hours, satellite images received by the American space firm Maxar Technologies reveal that Russia’s deployment on the Ukraine border has not reduced. According to satellite images, Russia has also built a bridge over the Pripyat River, just 6 km from the Belarus-Ukraine border.

Apart from this, a hospital has also been shown in a large area in the pictures shared.

Satellite images taken by Maxar over the past 48 hours show a new bridge about six kilometers from the Belarus-Ukraine border. Along with this, deployment of troops with armed equipment has also been seen in Crimea and Western Russia. Pictures also showed ground attack helicopters stationed near the Belarus-Ukraine border.

The areas where Russia has increased its forces, according to the report, are mostly located in the north and northeast of Ukraine, including a large airbase in Ukraine’s southeast and Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014 .

be settled peacefully

On the other hand, America has said, “We are doing everything possible for a peaceful solution to the Ukraine crisis. But such efforts will be effective only when Russia removes the deployed troops from the border.”

America has further said that Russia may be talking about withdrawing troops from the border and returning troops from Crimea after military exercises, but Moscow can attack Ukraine at any time and we are ready for that situation. However, Russia has consistently denied attacking Ukraine.
