This sandal has set the record for the highest price ever for a pair of sandals.
The auction house said in the listing on its website that the footprints of Steve Jobs on the cork and jute footbed remain intact even after all these years. Which were made after wearing this sandal continuously for many years. Julian Auctions said he expected the sandals to sell for $60,000. But the final selling price with NFTs was $218,750. However, Julian Auction has not disclosed the name of the person who bought this historic sandal of the co-founder of Apple.
Apple was co-founded by Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in 1976 at Jobs’s parents’ home in Los Altos, California. The house was designated as a Historic Landmark by the Los Altos Historical Commission in 2013. Significantly, Steve Jobs died in 2011 due to pancreatic cancer.
