Digital Desk, Beirut. Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah said the Lebanon-based group has the ability to convert thousands of rockets into precision missiles and to manufacture drones inside the country.
“We have been producing drones in Lebanon for a long time and whoever wants to buy them should place an order,” Nasrallah was quoted as saying in a televised speech on Wednesday by Xinhua news agency.
Iranian experts help Hezbollah convert rockets into precision missiles, Nasrallah said, adding that his group has also enhanced its anti-drone capabilities that have led to a decline in Israeli drone overflights.
Earlier this month, Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz signed an administrative order to freeze the assets of three Lebanese companies that allegedly supplied materials to Hezbollah on the manufacture of precision missiles.
Meanwhile, Gantz committed to continuing to offer humanitarian assistance to Lebanese civilians, while acting resolutely to counter the ongoing Iranian precision missile project.
