Biden happy on becoming India’s G-20 president, said- eager to support PM Modi

Washington. Describing India as a ‘strong’ partner of America, US President Joe Biden said on Friday that he is eager to support his friend Prime Minister Narendra Modi during India’s chairmanship of G-20. The term of India’s G-20 presidency officially began on Thursday.

Biden said on Friday, “India is a strong partner of America, and I look forward to supporting my friend Prime Minister Modi during India’s G-20 presidency.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India Inspired by the theme of “One Earth, One Family, One Future”, it will work to promote unity. India will list terror, climate change, pandemic as the biggest challenges. Together they can be fought in a better way.

India’s agenda will be inclusive-ambitious- PM Modi
The Prime Minister said in the article that India’s G-20 agenda will be inclusive, ambitious, action-oriented and decisive. The US President also underlined that the two countries would “advance shared challenges such as climate, energy and food crises to advance sustainable and inclusive growth”. The next G-20 leaders’ summit at the level of heads of state is going to be held in Delhi on 9 and 10 September.
