Elon Musk and the organizations associated with his company are acquiring thousands of acres of land in Texas to set up a city where the employees of Musk’s company will live and work. These properties have been purchased on at least 3,500 acres near Austin. It has been said in the report that Elon Musk is in the process of setting up a city named Snellbrook.

The area where Musk is going to settle the city is near the Boring and Space-X plants under construction. This place is on the banks of the Colorado River in Texas. Employees of Musk’s companies will live here and will be able to go to work in nearby plants. According to the report, the plan is to build 100 houses where a pool and an open playground will be built nearby.

Earlier in 2020, Elon Musk announced that he would shift Tesla’s headquarters and his home from California to Texas. Tesla will open a new Gigafactory manufacturing facility in Austin in 2022, while SpaceX and The Boring Company also have facilities in Texas.

Musk’s plan is to provide cheap houses to his employees. It is being told that Musk wants to provide one and two bedroom house at an initial price of around Rs 65,000 per month. For this, there is also a rule that if the employees of the company leave the job or there is retrenchment, then they will have to vacate the house within 30 days.
