The Nashville Fire Department confirmed “multiple injuries” with media including NBC and The New York Times, while the hospital confirmed the deaths of three children. According to the school’s website, Covenant School was founded by Covenant Presbyterian Church in 2001. About 200 students study in it. The school has classes from Preschool to Class 6. An active shooter program was also organized here in 2022 in view of the ever-increasing incidents of shootings in American schools.
