Ardern is an inspiration to women around the world. He has been selected for Dual Fellowship at Harvard Kennedy School, the prestigious education institute of America. Douglas Elmdorf said in a statement, ‘Jacinda Ardern demonstrated strong and empathetic political leadership to the world. Ardern will bring important insights to our students. She will provide an opportunity for leaders at all levels to discuss the options available with regard to public policy.

Ardern took over as Prime Minister of New Zealand in 2017 at the age of 37. Ardern became an international icon for how to balance work and personal life. When he addressed the United Nations General Assembly with his newborn baby girl in his lap, he was appreciated everywhere.

In January this year, Ardern surprised everyone by announcing that she would step down as prime minister.
