The Falcon Rocket took off from NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Sunday afternoon carrying these passengers. These four astronauts have to reach the International Space Station in their capsule on Monday morning. They will spend more than a week there before landing in the waters off the Florida coast. Rayyana Barnawi, a stem cell researcher sponsored by the Saudi Arabian government, became the country’s first woman to go into space. She joined Ali Al-Qarni, a fighter pilot of the Royal Saudi Air Force, on this space trip. She is the first person to ride a rocket from her country since a Saudi prince was launched in the shuttle Discovery in 1985.
