Donald Trump’s Republican Party leader Sajid Tarar said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s US visit to be held later this month will be a historic visit. US President Joe PM Modi will be visiting America from June 21-24 at the invitation of Biden and First Lady Jill Biden.

Tarar said on Tuesday, ‘This will be a historic visit of Modi to America. And imagine India’s foreign policy that they (US) are offering it NATO plus membership. India is not interested in this because it values ​​its relations with Russia.

‘India should not underestimate its role’
Tarar was referring to a recent resolution passed by the House of Representatives Select Committee on China, which recommended that India be admitted to the ‘NATO Plus’ membership. Also, they (India) already have the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) bloc, they already have the G-20, they already have Shanghai, he said in an interview. PM Modi will also address the joint session of the US Congress during his US visit. Regarding this, the American businessman said that it is a great honor for any world leader to address the joint session of the US Congress. He said, ‘It will be remarkable.’

‘Pakistan going through very difficult times’
On the other hand, in response to a question related to Pakistan, he said that the country is going through a very difficult time. Tarar said, ‘Not only your political stability, but at the same time financial crisis…. And none of the parties involved have any roadmap for economic reform or any political reform. This is a very sad and serious situation in Pakistan right now.

Noting that every Pakistani is responsible for this situation, he said, ‘You cannot blame one person or one party. This is the whole country. Because right now Pakistan’s number one issue is corruption. He said, ‘There is no accountability. Every institution and judiciary is not working. The legislation is a joke, there is no opposition party. All political parties, they are part of the hybrid system in Pakistan. I blame everyone. Right now, if you ask me personally, there is no single organization that has a solution for Pakistan. This is a very sad situation.

Tarar insisted that the people of Pakistan would have to become Pakistanis in order to find a solution. He alleged, ‘Right now, the regime, who is running Pakistan…they have Pakistani passports, but with their heart and mind, they live in the West; Their children are here, their properties are here, their bank accounts are here. He goes to Pakistan on a part-time basis and makes policies there. Then they come back.
