Why did Modi go to America in 1994

Along with him many other leaders also went to America from India. Senior BJP leader G Kishan Reddy was also present with him. Reddy is currently the tourism minister. In the year 2014, it was Reddy who had shared the photo of PM Modi taken outside the White House. While sharing this photo on Facebook, he had written that in the year 1994, Narendra Modi visited America on the invitation of ACYPL.
