Because divers’ equipment only allows them to go to a certain depth. In fact, divers who are wearing special equipment and breathing air mixed with helium, can only go to a depth of a few hundred feet with it. Before that they will have to spend a lot of time to reduce the pressure before coming up. At the same time, after a depth of a few hundred feet, even the sunlight does not reach inside the water. That is, the rule of darkness prevails there. There is talk of reaching some 100 feet here and Titanic is lying at a depth of 14,000 feet inside the sea. To reach where humans have only the support of a submarine with special equipment, which keeps them warm and dry as well as provides air for breath.

A vehicle that goes deep into the water without humans and is operated remotely. The US Navy has a vehicle that is remotely operated. It was first used in early 2022 to extract the crashed F-35 Joint Strike Fighter located at about 12,400 feet in the South China Sea. With the help of this vehicle named CURV-21, a depth of 20,000 feet can be reached.

Distance is also a hindrance, time is also less
The Navy’s deepest diving robot has the power to go inside, but reaching the spot itself is fraught with difficulties. Actually CURV-21 is about 370 miles away from the spot. And the speed of the ship that can bring it is not more than 20 miles per hour.

Reports suggest that Titan can keep five of its sailors alive under water for only 96 hours. After this, if the Titan’s battery runs out, the heaters will not be able to run and the people inside can suffer hypothermia (extremely low body temperature).
