According to a report by news agency AP, a 21-year-old youth shot himself dead after killing three people in a convenience store. This firing incident has once again sparked debate on arms laws in America.

Giving information on the incident, Yakima Police Chief Matt Murray said that the murder took place at Circle Market at around 3.30 am. The Yakima police chief said officers received a call from a family member of the suspected gunman, who said they could find him behind warehouses. The officer further said that before the police arrived, the suspect apparently shot himself and ended his life.

According to the report, the killer was first trying to go to the lobby of a gas station, but the doors there were locked. According to the police, the suspect crossed the road and went towards Circle and shot two people sitting in the store. The suspect then went outside the store and shot another person, who died.

According to a CNN report, the police department has identified the possible suspect as Yakima County resident Jared Haddock, 21. Murray said in a social media message that the shooting appeared to be ‘random’, without elaborating on the incident. There was no apparent struggle between the victims and the gunman. No force was used by the police and no officer was injured.
