According to a press release issued by the North Port Police Department, the girl found her 57-year-old grandmother’s gun in the back seat of the car. Meanwhile, the girl opened fire in the moving car at around 3 pm. The bullet hit the girl’s grandmother in the lower back. Fortunately, the woman got timely treatment and survived.

The woman told the whole story
According to NDTV, according to Fox News, the police said that the woman was also questioned after being shot. The 57-year-old woman told that her 6-year-old granddaughter was sitting on the back seat of the car. Then he got a gun and accidentally fired a bullet. Due to which the woman was shot in the lower back. However, the women were able to go home and called the US emergency helpline number 911. Then he was taken to the hospital.

The police department noted that the weapon was originally kept in a holster. It was kept in the back pocket of the driver’s seat, under a seat cover. North Port Police Department said that investigation has been started in the matter and the girl has also been questioned. The police found during interrogation that the bullet was fired by mistake.
