It has been informed by the US Department of Justice that a person from Leominster has been arrested on charges of opening the emergency door inside the flight and attacking the flight attendant with a knife.

Police arrested the passenger
The identity of the accused person is Francisco Severo Torres. He has been accused of obstructing flight and assaulting flight crew members and attendants with dangerous weapons. Torres was arrested at Boston Logan International Airport on Sunday evening. After this, he was produced in the court, where the matter will be heard on March 9. Torres boarded a flight from Los Angeles to Boston.

Tried to open emergency gate
About 45 minutes before landing, the flight crew received an alarm in the cockpit that the starboard site door between the first class and coach sections was unlocked. Along with this, he also told that a passenger named Tors was near this door and he tried to open it.
