Washington. Bharatvanshi Amit Kshatriya has been made the head of NASA’s ‘Moon to Mars’ program. Amit Kshatriya is a software and robotics engineer and he has been working in NASA for 20 years. The ‘Moon to Mars’ program has been started recently by NASA. The agency told that Amit Kshatriya will take over this responsibility with immediate effect. NASA has said that this is a new mission whose objective is to complete the exploration program on Moon and Mars for the betterment of humanity.

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said that Amit Kshatriya has been given a big responsibility. The ‘Moon to Mars’ program will help successfully complete the tasks needed to prepare for humanity’s next big leap to Mars. This program will also be helpful in sending important missions to the Moon. This mission will also be helpful in preparing to send the first man to Mars. The office attached to it will work on developing hardware and risk management for these missions. It will handle the mission from planning to analysis.

Amit joined NASA in 2003, has completed many projects
Bharatvanshi Amit Kshatriya’s career started with NASA, he joined NASA in 2003. Here he started as a software and robotics engineer. His main task was to assemble the robotics of the International Space Station. From 2014 to 2017, Amit Kshatriya served as the Space Station Flight Director. During this, he operated the operations and flights of the team of international astronauts.

Amit Kshatriya has been awarded the Outstanding Leadership Medal
Amit Kshatriya has received NASA’s Outstanding Leadership Medal. Amit Kshatriya has also received the Silver Snoopy Award, this award is received for successfully taking astronauts to the space station and bringing them back safely. In addition, the Silver Snoopy Award is received for the robotic engineering of the Commercial Orbital Transportation Services Dragon. Amit Kshatriya has done post graduation in Mathematics from University of Texas.
