Horror House: The house where 6 people died in one night! People used to fly in the air, 17 films have been made

Amityville Horror house: 13 November 1974. 23-year-old Ronald DeFeo Jr. was in his house (Man murder 6 family members). His parents, Ronald DeFeo Sr. and Louis, were asleep. His 4 siblings were also sleeping, whose age ranged from 18 to 9 years. Suddenly Ronald started hearing strange sounds in his ears. Those voices were saying something to him. Something so terrible that Ronald could not understand what to do. In the end, he obeyed those voices. He took a gun and at 3:15 in the night, killed 6 people of the family. The sensation spread due to the death of 6 people in a single night, but after that what happened in this house was such a scary experience that every person living here was forced to run away.

The trend of horror films in Hollywood is quite old. Here one to one horror movies (Amityville horror movies) are made which people like very much. One such film became Amityville Horror. The first film was made in the year 1979 and after that till the year 2017, a total of 17 films were made on Amityville Horror. But the question arises that after all is this Amityville horror? This is a town near New York City, USA, where the haunted house at 112 Oceans Avenue (112 Oceans Avenue, New York) is located, which people know as Amityville Horror House. This house belonged to the Defeo family and Ronald was arrested after the murder case. He told in the court that he heard some voices, because of which he committed the murder, but it was proved in the court that the person used to take drugs, and that night he deliberately killed the family. Ronald was sentenced to 25 years imprisonment and in the year 2021, he also died inside the prison.

But after Ronald went to jail and the Lutz family shifted here, scary things started here. George and Kathy Lutz (Lutz family Amityville Horror House) bought this house in December 1975 for 66 lakh rupees. But he had to run away from home in just 28 days. He felt such things in the house which were crossing the limits of horror. Some green colored substance was dripping from the roof of the house, apart from this the family felt as if someone was peeping inside through the windows of the house. Every night George would wake up at exactly 3:15 am, when the family was murdered. George saw the most dreadful scene when he woke up one night and found the body of his wife sleeping next to him hanging in the air! She was flying in the air and then came down on her own. In just 28 days, the Lutz family vacated the house. In the year 1977, Jay Anson wrote a book called The Amityville Horror and for the first time in the year 1979, a film was made on the same book. Both the book and the film proved to be a super hit.

Anson interviewed the family after which he wrote the book, but one of George’s stepsons, Christopher, claimed that the horrors had taken place, but many things were exaggerated by his stepfather. George was also accused that he wanted to earn money by telling all these stories to the media and he had told this story to Anson while drunk. There was a lot of difficulty in finding a new buyer for the house and it remained closed for some time. Then James and Barbara Cromarty bought the house and changed its address from 112 Oceans Avenue to 108 so that people would not consider it to be the same haunted house. After living in the house for about 10 years, it was sold in 1987 to Peter and Jean O’Neill. He sold that house to Brian Wilson in 1997 for Rs 2 crore and then in 2017 the house was sold for Rs 5 crore. Even today it is famous by the name of Horror House.
