Biden simply said, ‘The Pentagon didn’t need to ask.’ During an interview with CNN, Biden said that the US has exhausted all possible scenarios in the Ukraine war, including the use of nuclear weapons. What would Washington do if Putin bombed a nuclear plant in Ukraine? In response to this question, Biden said, ‘It would be irresponsible for me to talk about what we will or will not do.’

On the question of meeting Russian President Putin during the G20 summit in Indonesia next month, President Joe Biden said that the meeting will happen, but there are some conditions attached to it. He said he would hold a meeting with Putin if he was willing to discuss the fate of American basketball star Brittany Griner.

America accused Russia
Basketball player Griner was detained by Russia and sentenced to 9 years in prison in August for drug trafficking. However, the US stated that Griner and another American, former American Marine Paul Whelan has been wrongfully detained. In an interview with CNN, Biden said that President Vladimir Putin has acted brutally. He has started the war, so I see no reason to meet him now.
