According to news agency AP, 32-year-old accused Chad Dorman lined up his sons before shooting them. The boys’ mother was also injured in the incident. Dorman was charged with three counts of aggravated murder. Police investigation revealed that one of the boys attempted to run to a nearby field, but his father chased him, brought him back, and then killed him.
The doorman was produced in the Municipal Court on Friday. The officials have not disclosed the motive behind the firing. The bodies of three boys were found by the police outside their house. Two people called the police about the incident and reported the attack to the emergency calling service 911. One call was made by a woman shouting. She had said that ‘her children were shot.’ The second call was made by a passing driver. The driver saw a girl running across the road and heard her screaming that her ‘father is killing everyone.’
Police found three boys aged 3, 4 and 7 with gunshot wounds outside the home, but were unable to save them. The names of the children have not been released. The boys’ mother was also shot in the hand. She was trying to snatch the gun from her husband, the doorman. During this he was shot.
