New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached New York on Tuesday late night (Indian time) in the first leg of his three-day state visit to America. During this, the people of Indian origin present outside the airport warmly welcomed him. The Prime Minister will meet several industrialists including Tesla company owner Elon Musk during his visit. Prime Minister’s agenda also includes meeting with many economists, scientists, scholars, educationists and health experts.
This visit of Indian PM is considered important in many ways. PM Modi will be a part of the celebrations organized at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on the occasion of International Yoga Day here on Wednesday. Everyone is also waiting for his meeting with US President Joe Biden. During this meeting between the two heads of state, many important issues are sure to be discussed. India is going to sign a big deal with the US in the field of defence.
