New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records during a yoga session organized in the United Nations on the occasion of the ninth Yoga Day. He has become the only Prime Minister in the world who has done yoga in front of such a large number of foreign delegates. During the program organized in the United Nations, he was also given the award for this achievement. PM said that yoga has come from India but it is free from copyright. There is no patent for it, nor is there any need to pay royalty money in lieu of it.

The headquarters of the United Nations, located in New York, has offices in all countries. In such a situation, when a special Yogashala was organized in the UN on the occasion of the ninth Yoga Day, diplomats from almost all countries took part in it. During the event, apart from high-level officials of the United Nations, diplomats from different countries and prominent personalities from all over the world were present. This is the reason that PM Narendra Modi, who is leading this Yogashala, made his place in the Guinness World Record. India’s Ambassador to the UN Ruchira Kamboj said that 191 countries participated in the Yoga Day programme.
