In this defense deal, GE Aerospace has entered into an agreement with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) to jointly produce fighter jet engines for the ‘LCA’ MK 2 Tejas light combat aircraft of the Indian Air Force (IAF). The agreement also includes production of GE Aerospace’s F 414 engines in India. GE Aerospace is working with the US government to obtain the necessary export rights.

India will give tension to China in drone technology
With this, India will move forward with modern technology in drone manufacturing. After the agreement signed after the talks between PM Modi and the US President, there has also been a big deal regarding the purchase of General Atomics’ MQ.9 Reaper armed drones by India. After the arrival of this drone in India, it will help in stopping Chinese mischief to a great extent. Reaper drones will also strengthen India’s national security and surveillance capabilities in the Indian Ocean and along the border with China. Compared to the earlier MQ1 Predator, it has nine times more power.

There will be big investment in Gujarat
Meanwhile, our PM Modi has also given a big gift to Gujarat. American computer chip maker company Micron has decided to invest $ 2.7 billion in Gujarat. An assembling and testing plant will be set up in Gujarat by the company. This decision was announced after the meeting of the company’s CEO Sanjay Mehrotra with PM Narendra Modi. This plant was approved under the ATMP scheme of the government. The scheme includes assembling, testing, marking and packaging.

Important space agreement between ISRO and NASA
Apart from this, the Artemis Accords between India and America have also been stamped. Under this, both the countries will work together on space exploration. NASA and ISRO have decided to work together on the International Space Station in 2024 under this agreement. The Artemis Agreement, sidelined in the 1967 Outer Space Treaty OST, is a non-binding set of principles designed to guide and use civilian space exploration in the 21st century. It is a US-led mission to return humans to the Moon by 2025, with the ultimate goal of expanding space exploration to Mars and beyond.

Semiconductor will be made in India
ICET agreement has also been signed between India and America. Under this, both the countries will come together in terms of tech research, civilian space, quantum technology and semiconductor supply chain. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has invited American chip maker Micron Technology to promote semiconductor manufacturing in India as the country offers advantages in many parts of the product’s supply chain. He also invited Applied Materials in India to develop process technology and advanced packaging capabilities.

Two new consulates in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad
In another diplomatic deal, the US will open two new consulates in Bengaluru and Ahmedabad to boost ties between the citizens of the two countries, while India will set up a mission in Seattle.

Indians benefit from H1B visa
With this, America is now ready to introduce such H-1B visa, which can be renewed only by staying in the country. This will help thousands of Indian professionals living in the US to continue with their jobs without the hassle of traveling abroad to renew their work visas.
