For all four moonwalks, NASA has selected two astronauts Drew Feustel and Xena Cardman. Both the passengers will walk in a circle of about one mile wearing a mockup spacesuit system. During this time they will use a variety of moonwalking tools and techniques to collect samples, including raking, hammering and coring.

At the same time, to analyze the moonwalk, the flight control team will monitor from the Mission Control Center at NASA’s Johnson Space Center and a science team will also do a real-time analysis of the effects of the moonwalk.
