Broken Arrow. Eight people have died in a house fire in the US city of Tulsa on Thursday. Police is probing the case from the angle of murder. The fire was reported at about 4 p.m. Thursday at Broken Arrow, a residential area in Oklahoma, 20 kilometers southeast of Tulsa. Broken Arrow police said the fire was suspected to have been set with intent to murder and the police were investigating the matter. He denied that there was any imminent danger to the public.

Police spokesman Ethan Hutchins said the scene of the crime is complex, so no further information is being given at this time. Hutchins said eyewitnesses told police that the house was home to a family of eight people, including two adults and six children, but the dead have not been properly identified.

A local woman named Caitlin Powers said she was going out with her children when she saw smoke rising near her house and stopped to investigate. Powers said that when I went closer, I saw smoke coming out of the roof of the house. He further told that two men and a woman were standing in front of the house. Powers said another man was seen dragging a woman out through the front door and she appeared to be unconscious.

Earlier in another incident, three Indian students were killed when a car collided with another vehicle in Massachusetts, USA. The Indian students in the accident have been identified as Kumar Reddy Goda (27), Pavani Gullapally (22) and Sai Narasimha Patamsetty (22). The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office said in a statement that five others were injured in the accident and were taken to hospital.
