According to the AP report, the UN chief said the 27th annual conference of the 198 parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), known as COP27. He said the entire focus of this important conference will be to help reduce emissions and simultaneously accelerate the transition to renewable energy in developing countries. “Developed countries should provide financial and technical assistance,” he said.
