We will open appointments for a large number of students only when most of the students have the admission letter and i20 form.

The US official said that the i20 forms come from American universities and many Indian students do not have this form but when the students season is done, then we will conduct interviews on a large scale. This month we are giving priority to students, so we will reduce the tourist visa interviews so that we can appoint more Indian students. Will the wait time of 500 days remain for a few days, in response to the question, the American official agreed.

He said that at present the number of Indian students in America is close to 2.5 lakh and among foreign students, the number of Indians in America is 23 percent. Indian students going to the US on a student visa can get a job on campus in the first year and also get an opportunity to work outside after the first year. There is also one year training after graduation.

He further said that right now there is the same regulation for Indian students as for normal travel. Students need WHO approved vaccinations. Universities in America want talent and intelligence from students and there are many facilities to attract such students. There is a scholarship in America and it is on merit basis.
