Firing in America’s nightclub, 5 dead, 18 injured, police engaged in investigation

Police have identified the gunman as Anderson Lee Aldrich, who is in custody and is being treated for his injuries. Police have not confirmed whether it is the same person. The police only said that they are checking whether the suspect has been arrested before. Vasquez said that at 11.57 pm on Saturday night, there was a news of firing at Club Q and officers arrived there at midnight. The condition of some of the 18 injured is serious and two have been discharged after treatment, officials said. According to him, some got injured while trying to escape from there. President Joe Biden said that the motive behind the shooting is yet to be revealed. He said, ‘We know that the LGBTQ I+ community has been made a victim of hate-based violence in recent years. We must address the inequalities that lead to violence against LGBTQ people, we cannot tolerate hate.’
